Pedestal shaped seals are available in custom sizes to your specifications. Typical applications include: aircraft compartments, oven and furnace doors, ducting access doors, dust and environmental
control, hooded equipment, clean rooms, other vibration and thermal barriers, and crucible lids.
The highly resilient seal conforms to aircraft fireproof requirement (2,000oF for 15 minutes), and meets Lockheed-Martin Spec LS60225-1.

CFP Tadpole Tapes are resilient gasketing tapes formed by folding specially designed cover materials over heat resistant cores and sewing or cementing the tail section to form the characteristic "tadpole" shape. The design provides effective sealing where limited bolt pressure and/or uneven mating surfaces are prevalent. |
