Product Details
NS-59 Cranberry is fully opaque striking porcelain red. It kiln strikes just like NS-07 Ruby and is well suited for a background color and stringer application. Because it has an opacifying agent it must be worked with care to prevent any boiling issues. Work in a soft neutral to slightly oxidizing flame and work slowly till it is glowing red. Try layering NS-09 Yellow over Cranberry for a nice effect. For more information about working rubies refer to Northstar Newlstter issue 8.
