A WORKING PRINCIPLE
The rice is fed to the one end of cylinder, it rotates forwards & tumbles it. This tumbling action forces the rice to align itself with the perforated slit. The rice thicker in
width will not pass through the slits while the thin rice will pass through the slits & will be separately conveyed to the discharge.

Rice to be graded thickness wise is fed to a regulatory valve into the distribution chamber. Hear the stock is equally distributed in six perforated cylinders. Each slit of the
cylinder is at the bottom of a corrugated groove with steep slanted sides, which helps the grains to alien itself in the slit. The thin rice passes through the slot & separated. The
rice separated by all 6 cylinders is collected in a taper hopper to go out & thick particles are moved in a square duct to the out let. Rotary wipers are provided to keep the
perforated cylinders clean.
