Available Types:
The control system for the milling process includes continuos measuring of the product temperature; speed controls for the milling shaft and for the discharge pump. A flow sensor in the outlet piping and a level senspr inside the milling tank protect the mill from process disturbances.
The milling process of the BMS is characterized by a product flow from the top to the bottom. The pressure of the grinding steel balls leads to a high grinding friction. The shaft speed can be kept low and causes little wear and need of maintenance.
The construction consists of a rigid steel frame with the milling tank supported by a tilt mechanism for easy maintenance. A further construction advantage is the steel ball "quick discharge" placed on the side of the milling tank. This makes the exchange of steel balls quicker and easier. For cooling purposes the milling tank is jacketed.
BMS-Types are especially designed for medium fine milling and are characterized by their relatively short and wide milling tank with a big volume and a large load of steel balls. The large amount of steel balls and the slow turning milling shaft combine good milling characteristics with a relatively low installed electric power.
