The installation consists of prehopper, pneumatically controlled ball valves, stainless steel reactor with agitator, steam injection, safety walve, stainless steel outlet hopper, steel supporting construction, filter and control panel.
Durinf the debacterization process the whole beans will be treated with high temperature and steam to eliminate spores and bacteria without negative influence on the nibs inside of the cocoa bean shell.
The BCBD reduces the microbiological contamination on the surface of the cocoa beans.
