Kombis FFSmakes laminate tubes of web with thickness 0. 130-0. 200 mm. The machine is designed to produce low-cost tubes and therefore many of the included mechanisms are simplified as much as
possible.
The standard machine can handle aluminum barrier layer (abl) laminate. Operation with pbl film web is not supported at this time.
The tube design is positioned longitudinal on the web similar, like as kombis 55xx machines, but the winding of the reel is in opposite direction. The required plastic shoulders and caps are
pre-assembled together. They are fed in by a vibrating hopper, from where they are transferred to the tube assembling area. The assembling of the caps to the shoulders is done on a separate
machine-ACS-7001. The speed of the ACS-7001 machine is 70 sets per minute and it enough to feed two tube production machines with parts.
