The semi-automatic Belling Machines differs from the automatic machines only for the lack of the bench for the transport of pipes during the various phases of the belling cycle.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

SYSTEMS (INDIA) Belling machine, it is possible to install a wide range of belling tools suitable to form any type of socket. The belling tools with mechanical mandrel and self lubricating collapsible segments are the best to execute a product with the utmost precision and accuracy.

The belling machine specially designed for socketing of uPVC pipes of diameter from 40mm upto 315mm. Belling of minimum 1 meter upto 6 meter maximum pipe length is possible and as high as 120 sockets per hour can be produced depending upon the operator skill.

BELLING TECHNOLOGY

The cooling system is installed on the belling station. It uses pre-cooled air which is conveyed internally and externally to the socket during the forming cycle. Before reaching the socket, air is forced throuch a heat exchange containing chilled under at temperature 12 deg. C. The absence of connection between chilled water and belling tools avoids corrosion.

On belling station, the pipe is clamped and forming mandrel with water circulation forms the socket. At the preset time, water circulation stops, the forming mandrel retracts and pipe gets declamped. The buzzer sounds, giving a signal to the operator. During this time, the heat cycle of the next pipe is completed. Thus, this cycle of next form is almost continuous.

COOLING SYSTEM

The oven is basically designed on heating station with hot air circulation and pyrometer temperature controlled by means of a blower, air locks and relative oven accessories. It is possible to regulate both internal and external flow of the hot air on the pipe as soon as required plasticizing teperature is reached. The oven has a system for rotating the pipes clockwise and anticlockwise. The buzzer sounds and the pipe gets declamped.The pipe is then withdrawn and placed on the belling station.
