The front panel which also comprises the feed and discharge spouts is hinged to the frame so that it can be easily swung open for cleaning. All moving parts are easily accessible for maintenence. The machine has a safety interlock and will not start if the covers and guards are are not locked in place. Variable spped drive can be incorporated optionally
The machine frame is manufactured from SS304 square hollow section and all food contact parts are in SS316 construction. The machine is mounted on 4nos swivel castors for portability
The Mozerella cheese blocks are fed through the machine spout into the cutting chamber where the impeller spin cuts the cheese against the shredding bed. As the impeller has multiple vanes the feed can be continous and the cheese block is automatically delivered to the vacant impeller. A 100x100x150mm block of cheese is shredded in just 2 seconds.
