Nylon/PP Monofilament Extrusion line

The Extruder is offered in production capacities of  40 Kg, 70 Kg & 100 Kg/hour in corresponding screw sizes of 65mm, 75mm & 90mm respectively.

 The Extrusion line consists of Extruder fitted with nitrided hardened screw/barrel set, hopper dryer, blowers, heaters, Helical gear box & AC motor with inverter panel for smooth speed control, Diehead for vertically extruding the filaments downwards, insulated chilling tank, 1^st Godet or Roller stand, Orientation Oven for reheating the extruded wires, 2^nd Godet or stretching Roller, Stabilising Oven, 3^rd Godet or tak-off Roller stand, Spool winder and control station for complete machine fitted with PID controllers, meters, complete wiring, etc. The plastic granules are fed to the Extruder which is fitted with hopper drier to remove any moisture from the granules. The Extruder melts the plastic and transports it forward through multi-hole die plate or spinnerette which has many holes to produce round wires which are much larger diameter than the final size of filament. The thick wires, as they energe from the extruder, fall down into a chilling tank to cool them, then these wires are re-heated in an orientation oven and stretched or oriented in the machine direction between 2 pair of stretching rollers and stabilized in another low temperature Oven to remove internal stresses in filaments during stretching. The filaments are wound on Spool Winder. The stretching of filaments, in line, will greatly increase the tensile strength which is necessary for application.

When Extruder is used for producing Strapping, the die shape is rectangular slot opening but other downstream eqiuipments are mainly similar.

MALIKS Nylon/PP Monofilament/Strapping Extruder is used for producing high tensile strength monofilament from Nylon or PP materials. Such filaments are widely used as bristles in brush production, fishing nets, brooms, artificial hairs, etc. Strapping is used in packaging application for tying boxes & cartons.
