These terminals can also be used for marketing telephone cards of mixed values, smartcards, royalty cards etc.

These kind of terminals are in frequent use since 1996 for distribution of high secure ID cards with great success. They have proved simplified and fast handling with much less man-power than in old systems.

The self-service terminals are normally kept in groups of 10-30 in secure buildings, banks or official buildings. A subterminal inform the client of where to find t he terminal that stores his/hers card.

The terminal can be connected with databases and mainframes in large or small systems. In some installations it simultaneously checks and change the clients unpaid and due fees and fines, i.e. it administrates Authority Systems.

It stores up to 5,000 cards in an ingenious paternoster transport of the cards and executes controles, registrations, printing, reading barcodes, banknote handling, destroying old cards, and issuing a new card in approx. 15 seconds.

The terminal issues ready-made ID cards, driving licences, credit cards, telephone cards etc, but first it checks their security and payment in the incentive system.
