Base frame: single piece steel fabricated base accurately machined for fitment of auxiliary equipment. 

Motor: ABB / Kirloskar/ NGEF / GEC / ALSTHOM reputed make

Pinion: En 9, Forged steel pinion with teeth hobbing cut.

Bull gear: Heavy duty Steel fabricated with teeth hobbing cut.

Stand Frame & Apron (Cap): Heavy Duty Steel Casting.

Roll clearance adjusting unit: Nip adjustment at two roller ends is done manually using two separate screws attached to the Bearing housing body.

Lubrication: Grease lubrication system to lubricate Bearings fitted in housing.

Reduction gear: Helical reduction gearbox, Greaves/ Shanti make.

Rolls: Chilled cast iron rolls having surface hardness 480 ~ 520 BHN and mirror finished & polished, duly grinded. The Rolls are hollowed for cooling or heating.
