The Feeding methods are possible one at the center of the rotor and the other tangential to the rotor. Research shows that central feeding decreased capacity upto 20% with a corresponding reduction in efficiency. In the case of tangential feeding, the product aided by he incoming air falls directly into the zone of greatest hammer velocity. In Central feeding, the material takes a spiral path with almost the same peripheral has a tangential feeding arrangement and hence it has the advantage over the conventional pulverizers. Production and capacity will increase as the screen opening is enlarged, because the mill is doing less work per unit weight of the material. The fineness of grind can be controlled by the size of screen. Below mentioned graph shows the effect of screen opening on production rate.
It is assumed that most of the grinding occurs as the hammers strike the material in the air as it falls into the mill. If the first impact of hammers against the grain does not break it up it will drop through the screen, it rebounds and is again struck by the hammer tips. This process continues until all particles are reduced to a size that will allow them to pass through the screen. A fan or blower is usually used for product transporter after grinding. The fan requires 25 to 30% of the horsepower of the mill. The fan assists in product removal from the mill and also cools the stock being reduced.
The Hammer Mills are operated at a high speed. The shaft carries hammers. It is also known as beaters. The rotor (Hammer Assembly) runs in a housing containing grinding plates and liners. The clearance maintained between grinding plates and rotor is important with respect to the fineness of products. This principle is illustrated in the attached annexure (1).
vii) Heavy duty bearing housing made out of graded Cast Iron and also heavy duty self aligned double ball bearings.
vi) Relatively uniform product with minimum losses.
v) It is cool grinding.
iv) The Mill is self protective. The Hammers are hinged and fly-backwards when foreign material accidentally enters the mill.
iii) The Screen can be changed in less than a minute.
ii) Conventional hammer type machine has one cutting edge. Premium Miracle Mill has a unique design hammers that has several cutting edges, thereby increasing the life of hammer or several times.
i) Three in One : Three distinct operations in one installation i.e. Pulverizing, Sieving and Collecting.
The Hammer Mill is made in different types and sizes and can be used for a varoity of materials than any other type of machines. Premium Miracle Mill has certain advantage than other conventional pulverizers.
Premium Miracle Mill is for Spice grinding and also it grinds various types of applications.
