Lattice-like magnetic separators (pict. 6-8) with permanent magnets are used for extraction of ferromagnetic particles out of flow of granular materials or liquid (machinery oil, vegetable
oil, chocolate, food syrup, aqueous slip of ceramic materials etc.) moving on product pipes and conveyors, on various enterprises for protection of processing equipment against various metal
objects and for impoverishment of metal impurities from granular materials and liquids.
Lattice-like magnetic separators are generally settled on product pipes and conveyors where installation of stationary magnetic separators is inconvenient or their use is inexpedient.
Lattice-like magnetic separators are settled in any place of vertical, aclinal or horizontal product pipes and conveyors or in existing pipe works of processing lines (for liquids). These
separators are also installed in feed and collection bins of processing equipment.
Lattice-like magnetic separators have following characteristics:
1. Max induction density on magnet blocks surface (t=20 ) - up to 800 mT
2. Max working temperature - up to 150
3. Diameter of magnetic rods - from 0.001 up to 5 mm.
4. Quantities of magnetic rods - 1-5 and more.
5. Mass of extracted metal particles - from 0.001 up to 1 kg.
