Typical pressure equipment

In section I at constant low pressure the number cycles are abant 10 to 15. In section II the pressure is incrementally increased at each cycle by 0.2 bar up to maximum pressure, which is present by operator which is 2 bar. In III rd section, the pressure is maximum & their number is about 5 to 10 cycles. The total pressing time (includes Coating, pressing & discharging) takes about 2 to 4 Hours. Because of the relatively low pressure exerted on the pomace and Gentle Mechanical Treatment of the skins, the solid contents in the juice is relatively low. The distinction between the free run and press juice is determined at certain pressure level in section II or at the beginning of section III. In some wineries, with white must the decision can be made when to separate.
