The sunflower seeds are supplied through a controlled feeder to thepressing unit for heating and pressing.  The oil is drained off into anoil-receiver through special outlets, the cake being discharged via aconic outlet in the front part of the pressing unit.  The cakethickness is controlled by means of a conical nut.

The oil extracting press is comprised of a frame with an electricmotor, reduction gear and pressing unit installed on it.  Rotation ofthe electric motor is passed to the worm shaft of the pressing unitthrough the reduction gear.  The seeds are loaded into the receivinghopper.  There is a heater to heat the pressed matter.
