General Features:
The basic machine has a robust and vibration free construction.
The machine bed is of box type casting.

Table:
Table is provided with several T-slots to clamp work piece anywhere along table length.
The table drive mechanism is by Rack & Pinion system.
Table guideways are hydrostatic through pump interlocked with table drive motor
Table traverse is single feed with mechanical ystem of drive pulley.
For Variable feed, AC drive is provided (Optional)

Machine Column:
Column and bridge are locked by heavy bolts and locating pins.

Cross Rail:
The Cross Rail is designed to resist distortion and deflection due toheavy cutting forces. The cross rail moves on two column guide-ways.
Movement of Cross Rail is by rigid lead screw and nut arrangement.

Clamping:
Clamping of quill movement, milling head and cross rail by mechanical means.

Swivel-type Milling Head:
+/-45 degree movement is by worm and worm wheel for milling head on cross slide.

Safety:
Overload relay is provided for overload protection.
Limit switches are provided on both sides of the table to prevent table overrun.

Lubrication:
Mechanical pump is provided for lubrication on table and bed.
Centralized pressurized lubricating system is provided for lubricationon entire machine- table, bed, cross slide, milling head (Optional)

Control System: (Optional)
Pendant system control panel is provided for centralized control.
It is ergonomically designed for easy reach of the operator throughpush buttons and selection switches. It is possible to swivel operatingswitchboard
Mushroom-type emergency stop button is provided to override all other controls.
