Processed materials Maximum film perimeter 1900 mm (can be increased if gusseted). Maximum roll width 850 to 900 mm with edge trimming, 900 to 950 mm without edge trimming. The machine is tuned and adjusted to manufacture stretch film. As far as production of the film is most profitable, customers usually do not downgrade STRETCHLINE to simpler films. The machine may produce very fine films from 4 micron (Exxon Mobil EXEED resin). Construction of STRETCHLINE is truly universal machine, capable to process wide range of such polymers as: LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, EVA, their modifications, mixtures and combinations. The above resins comprise 75 per cent of world consumed polymers. The machine is not suitable for processing of PA (option), PVC, PET, PC, PS. STRETCHLINE series is comprised of the following basic modules: We may suggest chilling of air, increasing of height, installation of dual lip air ring, etc. This quotation describes most typical composition of line parameters but it may and advised to be considered as basis for further improvement to make the line best fit to the customers market needs. Production capacity of the machine is usually limited with cooling and bubble stability (for typical die it is 65 to 85 kg per hour for LDPE, 40 to 45 for LLDPE and HDPE). Output decreases for thick film and narrow sleeves as well as by increase of temperature of cooling air or by maximum speed of winding (usually for thin films). Output and quality of end product can be usually increased by adjustment of the line to typical range of production. This is called optimization. STRETCHLINE has a high pressure extrusion die with improved gauge variation design (fine comb spiral). Machine is also equipped with grooved feeding zone, static mixer, universal air ring, stick-free calibration cage. PLC (Programmable logical controller) supervises processing of polymers on Stretchline-805 in most precise and operator-friendly way, thus reducing wastes, startup costs and improving film quality and stability. STRETCHLINE consumes about 300 to 350 Watt per hour per every kilogram of produced film. The machine is manufactured from aerospace grade alloys, assembled from components from leading companies (MITSUBISHI, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, FESTO, ALLEN BRADLEY, ABB, SITY, etc.) STRETCHLINE is retailed to manufacture monolayer stretch film by the most economical method. Base polymer (usually LLDPE) and liquid cling agent PIB (Polyisobutilene) are blended within the hot part of the machine. The cling agent is injected into extrusion cylinder at a very high pressure (up to 200 Bar). Special design of hot part provides ideal homogenization of up to 7 per cent of PIB, that is usually more then enough for typical applications of the stretch film. STRETCHLINE is unique for its universal applications. The machine is capable to manufacture top grade quality monolayer LLDPE, HDPE, LDPE and EVA films. Perfect homogenization in combination with high pressure of melt feeding and computerized controls of the machine allows processing of most complicated polymers and their mixtures. Flexibility of the machine is achieved by universal screw as well as by variation of production modes and parameters: film thickness, perimeter of sleeve and roll consequently sizes, types of wound rolls (tubular, flat, semi-tubular). Film mechanical properties depend on rate of stretching at the last second of sleeve stiffening. Stretching in longitudinal (machine direction, MD) and circumference (transfer direction, TD) is defined by the form of the sleeve and may be controlled to provide desired combination of orientation in both directions so the properties of film may be maintained. STRETCHLINE is capable to produce blown biaxially oriented stretch film by flexible and universal method of extrusion of polymer into tubular sleeve upwards with further stretching and cooling the sleeve by air and winding on roll with or without longitudinal cutting. |
