Our "PRE" planetary screw roller extruder series has an outstanding capability in mass production of many products because it uses a variety of plastic resins. It fixes the screw developed by
planetary screw into the center of the main screw and barrel whose screw barrel, a plastication device, is made of screws in the helical gear shape and is angled at 450 degrees and revolves and
rotates to produce rollers and other extrusion products. It enables the best homogenization and distribution effect because rolling and extrusion are performed at a rather low temperature in the
space between the put-together screws. Therefore it achieves no change in properties in matters, which is the characteristic of a low-temperature moulding extruder.Combined rolling and extruding
action:Through the intermeshing action of the toothed planetary roller system just one singleRevolution of the main spindle suffices to roll out the plastic melt as many as 1,100 times, ensuring
optimum plastification, homogenization and dispersion. Compared with other extruder designs, this system increases the contact surface of the melt by up to five times. The planetary spindles, which
"float" in the melt, are retained by a stop ring at the outlet of the extruder barrel. By changing the inner diameter of the thrust-ringIt is possible to influence the residence time of the melt
and hence the degree of dispersion and gelling.Low-cost formulation:The optimum heat-exchanging effect created by the large contact surfaces of the planetary roller system in conjunction with short
residence time of the melt helps to achieve a considerable reduction in formulation costs. Costly stabilizers and lubricants are reduced to a minimum.Self-cleaning feature:Since all toothed
components of the machine constantly intermesh, no residual material is left in the machine when changing over from one formulation to another. In other words; the system is change-over from one
color to another, results in no more than 5kg of scrap.
