RSI Splashproof Low Profile Printhead The 2.0 stainless steel enclosed printhead provides an environmental containment for the HP housings, electronics, cartridges and ink flow regulators normally exposed with the standard open or bare printheads. The design incorporates an overlapping hinged head cover and gasketing around the cartridge openings in the front face plate. The face plate also contains vertical run-off grooves down the front to channel fluids away from the print cartridges and off the printhead. Additional benefit: This internal enclosed arrangement also fixes the regulator heights to the print cartridges to prevent possible misalignment. |
