The leadframes are well guided by wear resistant track and is being transferred in and out of the marking area by mean of precision control-gripping module. Index time of leadframes is also greatly reduced with our concept of double gripper indexer. To ensure consistency in the marking quality, a pair of mark clamper holds the leadframes firmly during marking while the presence of a pin check mechanism further ensures this feature.

Capability To Integrate With Most Laser System

The CCD camera monitors the orientation of the leadframes before they are being marked. By fixing the frame at a location, the vision system captures the frames hole position and determines its correct orientation. Rightly oriented leadframes are then indexed to the mark area while the wrongly orientated leadframes are being related into the reject bin. The laser system will be integrated with the handler and presented as a total system.

The convertible track can be programmed to handle different package width. Such conversion is done automatically when running a different package and can be accomplished in less than 5 minutes. By removing the human interface, these adjustments can be made more accurately and efficiently.
