Originally these were developed and spread through Japan like a Craze in the mid 1990's.However Purikura is not small business nor did it fizzle out.  In 2005,in Japan alone they made over 450 million dollars in sales and the popularity of the machines has extended full scale in Taiwan, Phillipines, Singapore,Thailand,Malaysia, Indonesia,China, Korea, Australia etc. etc. Purikura Photo booths can even be found in France, London, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York etc.  In Japan Purikura machines are the staple amusement product and arcades cannot survive without them.  They pull in an average of over $20,000 a year each which makes them the top performers. In second place would be crane machines at $16,000.  $20,000 in a market that is fully saturated and has low margins is incredible. In your home country or state your margin will be much larger and your machine more lucrative.

Importation Information
For U.S./Canadian customers --We import most machines from Japan and keep a limited stock in our stores in the U.S. We invite you to visit our store anytime and inquire about the models there. Models on display at our store will in most cases be cheaper for you then buying from our catalog because of cheaper shipping and because our customers enjoy when we replace them. If you want specific machines from our catalog imported they will have associated shipping costs but we give generous discounts for direct shipping to your nearby port.

If you want to set up an entire purikura shop we will have to import some models from Japan but will share shipping costs with you depending on your location. We give generous discounts when ordering in bulk. For very large orders we will offer such things as free shipping, delivery, setup, training etc. You cannot go wrong with us. For Non-U.S. customers -- We will ship worldwide from our partners port in Osaka Japan directly to you. Because of this we can charge much less and you will receive additional discounts from the prices in our catalog. We also offer bulk discounts.  Ask for our catalog for more details.

We only sell machines made and used in Japan. None of our products have ever been used outside of Japan or Los Angeles and are well maintained.  We also will advertise for your store/location on our website and help drive traffic for you. We also sell and export Japanese Arcade machines which perfectly complement the Purikura Machines. We can get any model you want and they fill up extra space in the shipping containers nicely. We suggest every store to have at least 1 or 2 arcade machines.  They act as distractions for male customers who may not want to take a lot of photos.
