The 697 has been equipped with bottom feed,needle and alternating top feed as well as with fullness distribution control(optional at the top or bottom)and with a stitch loosening device.When attaching a shoulder pad,the stitch loosening finger(that may be engaged manually or automatically)prevents the pad from being compressed.
