Going green has been a difficult movement for many. Schools for example are trying to teach the next generation to be environmentally friendly, but have found it to be next to impossible as the price of most recycled paper just doesnt fit their budget. Our paper allows people to afford to be environmentally friendly.
Traditional paper is made using trees and chemicals like bleach and chlorine. Our paper is different; it is made from Wheat Straw. After the farmer has harvested the wheat husk for food, he is left with the straw. We take that straw and make our paper out of it, doing so creates a bi-product. We take that bi-product and turn it into a bio-fuel. That bio-fuel is powering approx 80% of the factory the paper is made in.
Making paper also requires water, which we catch on the top of the 5 acre factory and filter into the factory. Instead of using harmful chemicals like bleach and chlorine to whiten the paper, we are simply using sodium (salt) so everything comes from the earth. On average, Australia cuts down 19 million trees a year just for paper. I think that you can now see there is better alternative.
Our options for an environmentally friendly paper have been limited mostly to recycled paper until this time. Recycled paper has usually been more expensive and lower quality than regular paper. You now have an alternative that isn't more expensive, and isn't lower quality than regular paper.
