DuPont Laser HTP also performs well on a variety of printers and presses both digital and traditional, including flexography, offset, and Indigo. It is NOT designed for inkjet printing. Laser printed bar code readability has been confirmed by Rochester Institute of Technology Printing Applications Laboratory.
Exceptional Strength DuPont Laser HTP is tough, strong, durable, and has remarkable resistance to abrasion, tears, and punctures. Ideal to withstand punishing outdoor applications like lumber, nursery, or brick tags and labels.
Heat Stability DuPont Laser HTP out performs polyethylene - and polypropylene - based products in heat stability, keeping it's shape at 200 decrees C (392 degrees F), and above, depending on dwell time and pressure. It can also be steam sterilized!
Outdoor Durability DuPont Laser HTP can withstand harsh outdoor conditions including water and direct sunlight. These qualities help tags and labels printed on DuPont Laser HTP retain their integrity. Only 0-10% tensile strength is lost after equivalent to six months of UV exposure in the Arizona Desert while some other synthetics turn brittle and break apart.
Superior Flexibility DuPont Laser HTP is both flexible and pliable, conforming to rounded surfaces. These are desirable qualities for drum labels and wristbands. It has very low elongation, enabling good print registration and security of wristbands.
Easy to Convert The structure of DuPont Laser HTP allows it to be cut, perforated, punched and sewn easily without special equipment.
