Thermal paper can be recorded by thermal head of heat energy, which is made into special paper by coating on base paper, using compounding of colorlessness dyes, developer of phenol type and reuco dyes. Top protective layer : Includes lubcrication to protect and prolong print head life. Critical in preventing damage caused by the print coming into direct with the thermal print head. -. Securlty thermal layer : A unique imaging layer which can be multicoloured for security applications. Colour is not visible until activated by heat. -. Base coat layer : Acts to minimise image development by providing a heat loss barrier and prevents print head contamination and damage by absorption of the molten thermal coating. -. Anti curl layer : Anti curl coating on back of paper ensures item remains flat.
