CURTA TYPE II CALCULATOR

Back before the affordable electronic pocket calculator appeared on the scene, the slide rule was the only option for portable calculation tools, until...a clever fellow invented the Curta Calculator. This odd-looking device, which gave new meaning to the phrase "grinding out calculations", was widely available at one time, until it was done in by technology. We actually sold these back in the day, although the mode of operation always seemed like voodoo to me. Anyway, this particular unit is in near-mint condition, and appears to have seen little, if any, use. It comes complete with the original optional leather case, as well as the plastic cannister.
