600-dpi resolution and 256-level greyscale ensure finely detailed reproduction, while Digital Auto Exposure Control provides optimum copy contrast. For the best results, users can slelct Text mode for text only originals or photo mode that gives detailed, higj-quality reproduction of photos and delicate halftone image.
The AR-5316E comes standard with two 250 sheets front loading paper trays (one 250 sheet tray for the AR-5316E) and a 100 sheets multi-bypass freeder. Two types of paper drawers are available for a total paper capacity of up to 1,100 sheets (850 sheets for the AR-5316E).
The AR-5316E Comes standard with XY Zoom and Dual page copy mode. Additional image editing functions (Rotation copy, Margin Shift, Edge/Centre Erase, and 2in1-1/4-in-1) are available with the optional AR-EB7 upgrade.
For copying productivity, the AR-5316E can be equipped with the optional AR-SP6N singale pass feeder, It eliminates the tedious task of placing pages by hand and allows you to automatically make copies from a stack of up to 40 originals.
For further convenience, an Electronic Sorting* function allows the AR-5316E to automatically collate multiple sets of copies in page order without the aid of a sorter. Each set is stacked slightly shifted apart from the previous (offset stacking) for easy retrieval.
The AR-5316E Scan Once/print many (SOPM) fuction stores a scanned original into memory to quickly produce up to 999 copies of each page at a continuous copy rate of 16 cpm. plus, thir quick first copy time of 7.2 seconds saves valuable time when performing multiple short-run jobs.
