This RUNCO VX-2cx is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! It looks GREAT, operates PERFECTLY and makes a TERRIFIC picture thanks to its cinema grade optics!

Included with this VX-2cx is its original shipping container with packing material, DHD digital controller, remote controller, anamorphic lens, ceiling mounting hardware, owners manual, 2 ACpower cords, one DVI to HDMI adapter and 3 BNC to RCA adapters.

This Runco VX-2cx is 30 months old and originally sold for $40,000.00. The lamp (installed) has 1265 hours of use with an expectancy of 2000+ AND this VX-2cx will also include a brand new (unused) lamp.

There are some cosmetic imperfections on the chassis of the projector - see the photos for clarification. The Digital controller chassis looks MINT.

The Runco VX-2cx projection system is among the first DLP projectors to offer a 16:9 native resolution, 3-chip system for home theater.

The VX-2cx optical light engine utilizes three advanced 16:9 DMDs featuring 1280 x 720 high definition resolution and 12 degree mirror tilt for the finest black level performance. The impressive brightness inherent in 3-chip systems is further bolstered by the improved contrast capabilities of the VX-2cx light engine design, offering the best of both worlds.

Unlike previous single-chip implementations of DLP, no color wheel is used. This reduces mechanical complexity and compromises to color spectrum purity. In simple terms: it will NOT exhibit the Rainbow Effect that theDLP technology is known for. The VX-2cx is also Runcos smallest 3-chip chassis ever, enhanced further by significant horizontal and vertical lens shift capability for maximum installation flexibility.

The VX-2cx is supplied with Runcos new, next generation all digital DHD controller, featuring advanced Vivix II video processing, superb scaling and aspect ratio control.The VX-2cx and DHD connect via DVI cable (not included) for a pure digital signal path from input to output. Runcos exclusive LiveLink DVI cable system circuitry is integrated into the projector to preserve HD signal quality over long runs.

This VX-2cx is equipped with Runcos CineWide with AutoScope technology This technology provides uncompromised widescreen reproduction of movies originally filmed in the CinemaScope 2.35:1 format. It maintains constant vertical height on the screen just as in a movie theater. When a viewer transitions from 1.78:1 (16:9) program material to superwide 2.35:1, the image simply gets wider while full screen height is maintained, eliminating black bars.

Due to the nature of this item, I will not be able to offer support in its installation or assembly. The winning bidder must be prepared to install this VX-2cx.
