Digital Ear Hosts projectors

The Meridian 810 projector is an ultra-high end video product, costing $185,000 (including an anamorphic lens, a scaler and advance calibration). It is based on three JVC 4,096 x 2,400 pixel D-ILA chips and delivers 4,000 lumens with a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The projector is available for sale through most Meridian dealers, but only two are currently putting it on display, Digital Ear and of  Mountain View, California

Company spokesperson, Lindsey Greulich, said that the event was the first of this kind of event for "In the future we will be hosting wine tastings, industry evenings and movie screenings to allow consumers and the industry view the highest integration and caliber of audio visual," she says.

Digital Ear, a high-end southern California dealer recently hosted an unveiling of one of the industry's most high-end projectors, the video reference system. The party was invitation-only and included 50 of the top interior designers, architects and lighting companies from around the region.
