With a short-throw lens that displays 60-inch images at a distance of 4.9 feet, the CPX4 can be placed close to the screen, eliminating obstruction of the image. Adding to the users convenience are advanced features exclusive to Hitachi projectors such as My Screen, My Memory and My Button. A built-in 1W speaker means no need for external audio devices, while the projector itself maintains a low noise level of 29 dB in Whisper Mode.
The CPX4 also offers wireless connectivity, making it even easier to set up a presentation. Additionally, the CPX4s Multi-Screen function allows four computer screens to be displayed simultaneously and wirelessly. The CPX4 is also enabled to display content via USB storage devices, SD cards or HDD media players, allowing for PC-less presentation. The CPX4 also enables easy setup with its Quick Start function, automatic vertical keystone correction, and resolution setting (allowing users to select the most appropriate screen ratio).
With Hitachis proprietary My Image functionality, AV/IT administrators can transfer still images, such as emergency alerts, from a PC to each projector on the network. When the My Image function is utilized, the images are automatically displayed on all the projectors, including ones that are not in use at the time. This is ideal for applications in which multiple projectors are networked across a large space, such as a school, campus or large corporate environment.
The Hitachi CPX4 3LCD projector weighs only 4.1 pounds, yet offers a brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens and a variety of connectivity options. The CPX4 offers networking capability, allowing for easy maintenance and monitoring. Through a wired or wireless LAN connection, an AV/IT administrator can monitor and diagnose the condition of every projector on the network. Additionally, the timing of switching the projectors power on and off can be automatically set from a computer. When the CPX4 is connected to the network, it accesses the server and automatically matches its clock to the server time. Users can also control and monitor the projector(s) from a web browser without having to download and install application software. Moreover, when connecting an external hard disk to the projector, image data can be transmitted and deleted via the network.
