Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel calendar - 2008 Edition
This calendar shows a series of images of Michelangelos frescoes from the Sistine Chapel. Details from the ceiling like the Creation of the Celestial Bodies and the Planets, the Creation of
Adam, the Original Sin, and the Flood. There are also images of some prophets and sibyls like the Delphic, Libyan and Cumaean Sibyls and the Prophets Ezekiel and Isaiah from the Last
Judgement. This is the official Vatican Museum calendar and is ready to be hung on a wall. It has a two page format. One shows the fresco detail and the other shows the numbers with the
days of the week associated with the saints and the important liturgical events that take place in the Vatican. On the page with the days of the month, the previous and following months are
also shown, plus a description in ten languages of the printed image. In the medium and small versions, there are only the numbers of the months with the initials of the days of the week.
Both versions come with a base so the calendar can stand on a desk. These calendars narrate the history of Italian art through their images. Available on this site and at Savelli retail
