Blown castor oils are manufactured by us with viscosity starting from about 900mPas at 25deg.C upto 100000mPas at 25deg.C depending on the end-use. Blown castor oils are used in applications like plasticizers, inks, coatings, sealants, caulks, putties. These products are non-volatile & have good compatiblity with various polymers.

It is somewhat difficult to imagine that, barely a few decades ago, castor oil was valued chiefly as a purgative. Who would have then anticipated the commercial respectability it would attain and the national and international demand it would come to enjoy?
