Flexible Containers or Tanks is today's answer to the problems of bulk storage and transport of liquids - water, fuels & oils, liquid food products, molasses, fertilizers weak acids and other chemicals etc.Flexible Tanks have literally thousands of uses in oil exploration, construction, highway building, logistics etc. ADVANTAGESFlexible Tanks have great advantages over metal tanks, and other arrangements for storage and transportation of liquids as follows:1 Metal tanks are unwieldy. Flexible containers can be rolled like a rug and packed and stored In a box. When required for use they can be installed in a few minutes by two or three men. 2 A metal tank for transportation of liquids, when it has delivered its load has to return empty. But Flexible containers can be rolled and folded when the contents have been discharged. Liquids therefore can be hauled in one direction and general cargo in the other. 3 Even the biggest rubberized flexible storage tanks are not fixed or stationary They can be easily rolled, packed and transported to another site of work by truck, rail or aircraft. The capital outlay is never wasted. 4 Flexible tanks require minimum maintenance. They never rust, never need scraping or repainting. The upper layer of synthetic rubber of the rubber tanks is strong weather and sunlight resistant. If properly handled and stored they can last many years under conditions of heavy usage. 5 Flexible Tanks can be stored in a space about 10% of the metal tank. 6 Flexible tanks, if damaged, can be patched immediately in a matter of minutes with the help of the repair kit provided with every tank. Metal tanks are less durable. 7 Flexible tanks are climate resistant. They can be used in all climates from the coldest to the hottest.
