We know and understand that weighbridges and weighing equipment are essential to many process operations and unwanted breakdowns are both annoying and costly. Although regular servicing and
maintenance can help to minimize problems, predicting what and when things will go wrong is very difficult with traditional weighbridges. Therefore the ability to offer remote maintenance service
support can save considerable time and effort especially for equipment operating in harsh, remote areas. The Telemaintenance" package is an optional part of Weightrons comprehensive service
portfolio and is particularly useful for weighing applications at remote sites. Telemaintenance can be used with any weighbridge or scale which has our Dialogic series of instrumentation (Self800,
D800, D410 and D400) and CPD digital loadcells. With the system installed, any problems with the weighing equipment are automatically flagged up at Weightrons offices. Details are immediately
forwarded to the local engineer who can then dial into the weighing system remotely and make a risk assessment of the situation. In many cases the engineer can carry out a range of checks and where
possible rectify the problem without having to visit the site. If not, then if appropriate, plans can be made to carry out any remedial work during the next scheduled visit, thereby minimising the
disruption to the site operation. All service data is stored using the comprehensive Solarvista" customer relationship management software package. This keeps a log of all service calls for
individual weighbridges and provides operators with details of any trends or repeat problems at a particular installation. Telemaintenance allows the user to: Access all modifiable parts within the
digital display from anywhere in the world Detect faults even in individual loadcells Recalibrate if the calibration switch is activated Update and /or customise software Reassign 'hot' keys and
I/O Modify text and printing format
