Plain and Metallized Films

About half of the films produced by the company are exported regularly to various countries including the U.S.A, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Srilangka, the Middle-East and ASEAN member countries.

Within BHINEKA's group company, a metallizing division has 3 units of metallizer, 2 of which are British made (GVE) metallizers (1.65m and 3m wide), and 1 unit Italian made (Galileo), with total monthly capacity of about 900 metric tons. In conjunction with the addition of a new cast line, a new 3.3m wide GVE metallizer will also be added to achieve a total metallization output of 1,500 metric tons per month. This 3.3 m wide metallizer is at the moment, the widest metallizer in Asia.

PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri is located in Bekasi, about 30 km from the heart of Jakarta covering an area of 100,000 m?, and houses 6 Cast Lines of web width ranging from 2.6 m to 3.0 m with annual capacity of 27,000 metric tons at present. These machines are state of the art technology from Mitsubishi of Japan, Europe (Austria & Germany) and the U.S.A (Davis-Standard). Supporting slitting machines are of European (Atlas and Kampf) and Japanese (Toshin and Fuji Tekko) origin. By the second half of 2008, a high speed 3.3 m Austrian cast machine will be installed and will add another 8,000 metric tons per annum of capacity.

PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri is a producer of Coextruded Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Films for flexible packaging. The company was established in 1992 and started its commercial production in 1994. By 2008, the company has an annual capacity of 35,000 metric tons as well as 18,000 tons of metallization capacity. With this output, PT. Bhineka Tatamulya Industri may position itself to be the biggest Cast Polypropylene (CPP) and metallized film manufacture in South East Asia. The company has also been awarded ISO 9001:2000.
