For every 100 kilograms of fruit bunches, wetypically extract 22 kilograms of palm oil and about 1.6 kilograms ofpalm oil. The final product in all its fineness and purifcation isusually transported by customers in their tankers to the market.

An Oil Press,into which hot water is injected, is used to separate the crude oilfrom the solid or fibrous like material containing the nuts. The crudeoil is then pumped to the purification section. The mixture at thispoint is a little water and more oil.
Our three purification chambers then carry out the simple separation process in which water is eliminated from the palm oil.

Onthe oil mill, the fruits are stripped from the bunch and sterilized.This is necessary to rapidly inactivate certain enzymes, which tend toreduce the quality of the oil by increasing the amount of free fattyacids. In addition, this process contributes to the mechanicalseparation of the fruit from the stem and to the rupture of the oilcells with the mesocarp.

Theoil palm is a tropical palm tree. The fruit is reddish about the sizeof a large plum ad grows in large bunches. A bunch of fruit can weighbetween 10 to 40 kilograms. Each fruit contains a single seed (the palmkernel) surrounded by a soft oily pulp. Oil is extracted from both thepulp of the fruit (palm oil ,an edible oil) and the kernel (palm kerneloil, used mainly for soap manufacture).
Once the fruits have been cut from the trees, they are transported to our processing plant by use of tractors.
