Feminine hygiene film:For our customers in the feminine hygiene market, we have developed a polyethylene (polythene/pe) blend in which a polypropylene (pp) resin has been mixed to give the film a greater strength without losing the softer feel. This material can be easily bonded to a polypropylene nonwoven and is now widely used for feminine hygiene applications.Obviously, low noise is an important requirement of any sanpro (sanitary protection) film, and the embossed material ensures an excellent drapability - avoiding any indiscreet noise (rustle) when wearing the panty liner or sanitary towel/napkin.The film can be supplied in gauges ranging from 18 to 80 microns, and in widths from 45 to 1800mm.Standard colours are blue, pink, and white; however, colours can be adjusted to individual customer requirement.If the film does not need to be bonded to a polypropylene nonwoven, our super soft grade of pure polyethylene can be used with excellent results.Individual wrapping films:We also offer a full range of embossed and unembossed films for use where feminine hygiene products require individual wrapping,These products can be either low cost mono-layer solutions, or sophisticated co-extruded structures depending on the end user demand.They can be colour-matched to your individual requirements, and printed in up to 8 colours if desired.
