One Stroke Inks
Description
496 Process Series is a very creamy, easy-to-print ink for 4 color process printing on white garments and
white underbases. This process ink has a large color gamut, allowing for perfect reproduction of the most
difficult colors. Always utilize a white underbase when printing on colored fabrics. This ink is designed to
be translucent.
Printable Fabrics
White cotton or white poly/cotton T-shirts and
sweats. Always print a white underbase on colored
fabrics. Use on 100% nylon and 100% polyester is
not recommended.
Screen Mesh
230 to 355 monofilament screen mesh is
recommended depending on the detail of the art
work and equipment (automatic or manual).
Squeegees
80 durometer or 75-90-75 triple durometer rubber
is recommended for 4 color process printing.
Flash Time & Temperature
Flashing process inks is not recommended. If a
white underbase is necessary, we recommend the
Super Smooth White. This ink will flash in 3 to 4
seconds.
Curing
The entire ink film must reach 320 degrees
Fahrenheit. Every conveyor dryer will operate
differently due to the large number of variables.
Under-cured garments will likely exhibit cracking
or flaking after washing.
Reducers
All of the inks we manufacture are ready-to-print. If
reducing is required, please add Curable Reducer,
Visco Minus, or Reducer #2 (5% maximum).
Cleaning
We distribute numerous cleaners for our plastisol
inks. These cleaners include: PW4, IR4, Franmar
Chemicals, Screen Wash, and Citrus Green.
Available Colors
Cyan, magenta, yellow, black, red, and blue are
available. These colors are also available in 3X
and 6X formulas for stronger color.
Important Note
Always perform a pretest print and test cure conditions on the fabric to be printed to establish the best
results. Stir inks vigorously before each use. Viscosity may need adjusting for best results. If there is ever a

Formulated to print on top of white cotton and poly/cotton T-shirts or a smooth white underbase, the 496 Series will allow for photo-realistic 4 color process prints with vivid colors. We offer six process colors and a process clear base. Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black are standard while process blue and process red are available for special art work. Higher pigment concentrations are available upon request in 3X and 6X formulas.
