SCRATCH-OFF PRINTING INKS

The film weight required depends on the absorbency of the material used. In general, a continuous lacquer surface is essential for the functioning of the system. In flexo printing, we recommend a cell volume of anilox >8cm³/m² for printing of the release lacquer and a cell volume of anilox > 10 cm³/m² for the printing of the silver/gold. In offset/letterpress printing we recommend a film weight of > 2/gm².

There are six different sets available, each containing release lacquer, silver or gold paste and varnish. All sets show very high opacity.

With scratch-off inks, information can be overprinted which again become visible after removing the scratch-off ink. The inks are mainly used for competitions, scratch card lotteries etc. the products of Zeller+Gmelin are "scratch-off-sets" for UV-letterpress and UV-flexo printing on paper, board and films.
