PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
1. CHARACTERISTICS
1.1. The BRILLIANT sunflower edible oil is produced with refining of crude sunflower oil.
1.2. Physical chemical characteristics
1.2.1. Content of free fat acids (as oleic) .. max 0.3 %
1.2.2. Peroxide number ... max 2.5 mmolO2/kg
1.2.3. Content of water and other volatile materials . max 0.2%(m/m)
1.2.4. Content of soaps (as Na- oleic) . max 50 mg/kg
1.2.5. Other characteristics: In accordance with the Regulation for quality of edible oils and
vegetable fats, and margarine, mayonnaise and similar products to them (Official Gazette of
SFRY 27/85).
1.3. Organoleptic features (at 20oC)
1.3.1. Taste and odor: bland, pleasant and characteristic to the product.
1.3.2. Appearance: clear without sediment and abstruseness.
1.3.3. Color: characteristic, bright yellow.
1.4. Pesticides and heavy metals: in accordance with the Regulation for generally requirement for
safety food ( Official Gazette of RM no. 118/2005 )
1.5. Microbiological correctness: in accordance with the Regulation for conditions with regard to
microbiological accurateness that food products must comply with in the circulation of products
(Official Gazette of SFRY no. 45/83),
1.6. Radioactivity: in accordance with the Regulation for maximum level of radioactive contamination
of the human environment and for performing decontamination (Official Gazette of SFRY no. 8/87),
2.USAGE
2.1. Consumption as food
- used for a wide range of consumers - from children to adults,
2.2. In food industry:
- for production of margarine, mayonnaise, salad creams and other emulsions,
- for production of fried products (chips, peanuts etc),
- for production of sweet creams.

3. PACKING
3.1 Bottling in PET bottles under nitrogen atmosphere:
3.1.1 PET bottle 1/1l, thermo foil packet with 12 bottles, palette of 864 bottles,
3.1.2 PET bottle 5/1l, box of 4 bottles, palette of 96 bottles,
3.2 Bulk, delivery in cisterns or by demand of the buyer.
4. MARKING
4.3. with a label: Each individual packing.
4.3.1. On the label there is a declaration of the product in accordance with conditions said in the
Regulation for Quality (Official Gazette of SFRY no. 27/85),
4.3.2. In case of bulk delivery: appropriate accompanying documentation.
5. STORING AND TRANSPORT
5.3. In original packing (points 3.1 and 3.2.). in a dark and dry transparent room at T = 22oC,
5.4. In bulk: storing in special reservoirs. Transport in clean, dry cisterns or other vessels meant for
transport of liquid food products.
6. DURATION
6.1. In original packing: 18 months in a dark and dry transparent room at T = 22oC.
