The printer will have a US list price of $99 and may be subsidized by the carriers or content providers or other third parties. The service will cost under $3.99 per month. Credit card-sized paper for the printer will cost $1.09 per 10 pack. There is no need for toners, print cartridges, the paper pack is the only consumable.

The AirPrint solution will work with most existing and new cell phones and consists of two elements: a small, iPod-like mobile printer that connects to your cell phone and a subscription service that opens your cell phone to a whole world of internet-based content in an easy-to-use, inexpensive system. Keep your printer handy in the car, in your briefcase or purse, backpack, or other convenient places.
