Regency have recently developed a watermark function which allow copyright statements or / and other images (logos) to be placed on a MapGuide Map. The watermarks can be any images or text that can be loaded into the MapGuide MWF Symbol library, this means text and vector images in MapGuide5 or additionally raster images supported by version 6. Up to four watermarks can be placed on any one map, one in each corner at any specified size relative to the map extents. The watermark is enabled through a new function that can be called by MapGuide developers as and when required. The function is easy to configure and use, and can be triggered from any location or event.Tip: Calling the function from the MapGuide Map "OnLoaded" event will ensure you always have a copyright statement and / or logo on the current map, no matter the scale or extents of the current view, the watermarks will be visible on any soft or hard copies taken
