Yap Micronesia Post Card

The picture on the post card was  taken on one the biggest event on Yap Island, which is called Yap Day, that certain event takes place on the 1st of March. The local islanders go to this festival to enjoy and celebrate their unique culture and customs. Also, reminder of how important their culture is to them. Tourist around the world comes to envolve in this special event. The local dancers perform Traditional Dances, each dance has a story to it. As you can see they are dress in colorful
