What is printing in waterless offset?
Waterless offset is a kind of offset without the use of moisture. The moisture in the ink is replaced by silicon rubber. Silicon rubber is placed on the non-pressing parts of the plates. With waterless offset, the ink and moisture do not emulsify, the ink stays pure and so does the colour. This way, the ink splitting in the process can be set very accurately.
All of the problems one would have with the confessional offset, because of the moisture, are ruled out with waterless offset.

What is important with waterless offset?
Important in this process is controlling all factors, such as ink temperature, ink viscosity and ink composition, but also the preparation factor is important.
There are higher demands made for films and documents, because there can be printed with a finer point.
The use of the right material (ink, printing press, cooling and peripheral devices) is of an essential importance for the optimal use of this printing technique.
