Digital Heat Transfer Printing

Digital heat transfer prints have the higher heat, lower and longer heat duration requirements.   It is preferable to use the special heat press machines with the temperature, pressure and duration settings. Simply place the transfer face down on the garment (for example), apply the heat of about 190 degrees Celsius, very low pressure and  45 to 60 seconds.  After cooled, carefully peel away the sheet and the print design should be applied ot the garment. 

If in large quantities, there can be cost savings in using a bulk printing technique.  The setup charges are lower and the quality is higherfor the small scale printing, but, the surface area printing unit costs are high.  The setup costs for the bulk printing is high, but the unit costs are lower.  The bulk printing has less flexibility for the color match since the very large volume is printed at the one time.

Digital heat transfer prints are suitable for the small and large quantities and the large detail or many color artwork or photos.  These are suitable for the high polyester content only.  Also, the white color surface is required for the image and colors transfering.

Shown are polo shirt colors made of polyester with the digital heat transfer printing. The very special mulitcolor logos, artwork or patterns are possible.

Digital Prints are suitable for the 100% or high content polyester products. Photo-quality or a large quantitiy of color.
