The plant for oil production is scheduled to be installed beginning of 2010 and the yearly production is estimated around 18-20.000 metric tons of Jatropha crude oil (JCO).
In the meantime, we are buying Jatropha seeds from independent producer all around Ivory Coast.
We are planning to extend this plantation to 5000 then 10000 ha in the next few years.
Our company, Equitable West Afrika (EWA) is presently managing a plantation of 4000 ha of JATROPHA CURCAS in Ivory Coast.Our first crop is scheduled for mid 2010.
