The Cuda brothers are one of the most successful in the region, a business situated in the area of Crotone, in Petilia Policastro, Calabria, works with success in the field of trade and of the bottling of oil since 1950. The excellent Oil originates from the charming hills of the Sila, with its strong taste and its gold yellow colour of brothers Cuda. This success is largely due to the fact that the oil is produced using only the first olives pressing, without any chemical manipulation, all in consideration of nature!

The olive tree has been known and used, for thousands of years, it can even be dated back to the prehistoric age. According to several studies, its place of origin is a region which is situated between the South of Caucasus and Iran, Syria and Palestine. Thanks to the Phoenician people, who founded their colonies in the Mediterranean, it also spread to Italy. The olive tree is nowadays one of the prevailing cultivations in the Mediterranean countries and it has since then represented a richness from the nutritional and the productive point of view. The oil was in fact used not only to enrich the food, with its strong and important taste, but also in the massages, in cosmetics, in home lighting and to treat wounds.
