It has widespread use in Aromatheraphy. It can be placed on top of Burners ( mixed with some amount of water) The mild & sweet lemon scent drives mosquitos and other insects away.
It is a pure essential oil extracted from the organically grown lemongrass of the west Indian type " Cymbopogon Citratus. The extracted oil is a thin yellowish liquid with a sweet lemony scent. Active ingredients are the Citral content, which amounts to 65 - 85 % also contains Citronellal, citronellol and Gerenelol. It is extensively used as a raw material in the Perfumery & Cosmetic Industry ( as in the manufacture of soaps, candles, in skin, hair and many other health care products).
