Aromatic Scent: Muhuhu has a balsamic-woody, sweet and faintly floral odor, reminiscent of vetiver, sandalwood and cedarwood.

Common Uses: The Muhuhu oil compliments true Sandalwood oil beautifully and may well be used in a blend with true Sandalwood to extend it. Emotionally its effect is said to be grounding and relaxing. It can be a lovely addition to an aphrodisiac blend, since it blends well with other aphrodisiac oils such as Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose,Rosewood, Vetiver, and Ylang Ylang.
Description: Grown in the coastal regions of Tanzania and Kenya, this essential oil is known as muhuhu, muhugwe, ol-magogo, or muhugu in the various dialects. The durable hardwood is widely used in making parquet floors and other wood products, and the sawdust from this process is used for production of the essential oil.
