Frankincense also known as Olibanum has a fresh, warm, rich, sweet-balsamic undertone.  It is a middle/base note.

Its scent has strong religious associations . One of the most important aromatic incenses. It was an offering to Jesus at his birth and is
mentioned 22 times in the Bible. It was also dedicated through the ages to a variety of Sun deities - Ra of Egypt, Apollo of Greece, and
the Babylonian god Bael. The deep benefits of this oil to focus consciousness and gain transcendent awareness were recognized by
spiritual traditions the world over.  

It may have the ability to calm and center the mind and to cease mental chatter, agitation, and worry.  It is thought to  encourage our
